Baystay B&B Place to Play and Relax

New Zealand’s Northland Region encompasses a cluster of islands surrounding the Waitangi Treaty Grounds (the nation’s birthplace) known as the Bay of Islands. The tourist mecca for sailors, swimmers, shoppers and sport fishing enthusiasts has its share of pink bits to entice gay and lesbian visitors to spend a few days being “gay in the bay.”

There are many activities in lively Paihia, including swimming with dolphins and overnight sailing, but if you just want to relax with a fresh-brewed cuppa and enjoy the waterfall and river views and spa pool, you’ll want to be booked into the Baystay B&B for a few days. Each of the individually decorated rooms with ensuite is air conditioned, and in the common room next to the always-on coffee maker is a pinball machine. The hosts Rob and Niek will gladly challenge you to beat them!

There are many amenities at this cozy inn overlooking the Waitangi River and rainbow-producing Haruru Falls. The Riverview room with king bed has French doors that open up to the deck and the large hot tub pool. How convenient can you get!
